The personal information you provide us with will be stored securely on our password protected database and will not be shared with anyone else unless required by law.
Your information will only be used for the following purposes:
1-2-1 Counselling Clients:
- To contact you to make, amend or cancel appointments
- To support your counsellor in delivering a high standard of care to you
- To maintain a reliable history of important information relating to health, treatments and relevant events
- To measure the efficacy of GroOops counselling methods, to understand if there are areas needing improvement
- To be aware of trends and statistics on a global level
Training and Workshop Attendees:
- To contact you to make, amend or cancel appointments, workshops or training days
- To maintain a reliable history of important information relating to the courses you have completed at GroOops and any other qualifications you may hold
- To measure the efficacy of GroOops training methods, to understand if there are areas needing improvement
- To be aware of trends and statistics on a global level
Your rights
- You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold simply by emailing your request to info@grooops.org.
- All requests to view, amend or delete personal information will be acknowledged on receipt of the email and completed within 2 weeks. Confirmation of any amendments or deletions will be emailed to you within this timeframe.
Emails
- We would like to use your email address to send you our newsletters to give you details of our upcoming events, news and training.
- We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We do not include any of your personal information in our newsletters and we do not store any of your personal information on our MailChimp lists (other than your name and email address).
- We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
- You can unsubscribe from general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails, or you can email us on info@grooops.org or call us on 0208 346 0941 and we will unsubscribe you.
